Uttar Pradesh State Open School Board, Prayagraj has applied for the membership of COBSE on 23/01/2023.
Despite many educational reforms and progress in the rural areas of Uttar Pradesh, a large number of boys/girls and adults who drop out of school due to poverty, migration etc. are out of the mainstream of school education due to certain social, economic and geographical reasons. . Keeping in view the need for alternative education to provide education to rural areas and to fulfill the resolve to make education accessible to the last person, year for the compulsion, development and promotion of school education in the state of Uttar Pradesh under open and distance schooling system. In 2008, a legislative enactment Uttar Pradesh Act No. 27- 2008 was made and for the first time through the order No. 2469/15-7-08-1(81)/95 to establish and provide autonomy, the society as an autonomous institution Uttar Pradesh State Open School Board is being operated from the year 2013 through registration number 12-2017 under Reg Act-21-1860.
There has been a revolutionary change in the status of women in independent India, the government and the men with progressive thoughts have accepted the importance of women’s education in national life and are strong supporters of its rapid spread, this is the reason that today women are using equal opportunities for education. Active in all fields like politics, social, cultural, literary and science etc. Despite all these, there are many problems in front of women, due to which education has not become easy and accessible.
